About Mt. View Cemetery
Cemetery office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Gates open at 5:00 AM and close at dusk seven days a week.
Our Old Cemetery section is the resting place for a number of well-known figures in early Oregon history. Monuments and family plots for Peter Skene Ogden, Colonel W. L. White, L. D. C. Latourette, and Charles Barlow stand in silent tribute. As with all areas of Mountain View Cemetery, visitors are welcome to stroll through this peaceful, serene area.
