Who needs a Business License?
All Businesses and Individuals that are conducting business inside the City Limits of Oregon City are required by Municipal Code: OCMC Title 5, Chapter 5.04 to obtain an Oregon City Buisness License before doing business. In addition, all Businesses and Individuals operating within the City limits must comply with the City's Building, Zoning, Fire and Police safety requirements. It is the responsibility of the licensee to comply with zoning regulations of the City Code.

- Commercial businesses are required to fill out the business license application
- Home based businesses are required to fill out both the business license application and the Home Occupation Worksheet.
