After working hard to address financial difficulties this year, Clackamas Heritage Partners, the management company that oversaw the operations, ultimately closed the doors in September 2009 to the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center and The Museum of the Oregon Territories.
In April of this year, the Oregon City Commission approved the hiring of a third-party consultant to conduct an operations and financial analysis of Clackamas Heritage Partners (CHP). CHP manages the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center, Museum of the Oregon Territory, and the Stevens-Crawford House, all in Oregon City.

New Lane Changes On Highway 99E Viaduct. Lane changes begin Thursday, July 2, 2009 on north end of project Beginning Thursday, July 2, motorists will notice new lane changes on the north end of Highway 99E northbound viaduct.

They serve as a central clearinghouse of information on this phase of the project with information on each county’s proposed urban and rural reserve candidate areas and links to maps and an online survey.
Eleven community projects will benefit from the annual Oregon City Civic Improvement Trust (OCCIT) grant program. “During these challenging economic times, the support from these grant funds will enable important community-based projects and activities to continue. Drawing visitors to Oregon City is more important than ever before,” said Mayor Alice Norris.
The historic Oregon City/West Linn Arch Bridge spanning the Willamette River has been a source of community pride since its opening in December 1922. However, after more than 85 years, this famous old bridge is in need of repairs.
Throughout the bridge, the deck, joints, rails, lighting and protective coating of the arch span require repair and replacement.
The prints depict “then and now” images from downtown Oregon City; people from Oregon City's past and present; and the construction of the elevator from start to finish. Asbill also designed images that were etched in the Elevator’s Deck floor, and complement the prints.
