Historic Preservation Grant

50/50 matching grant program for Locally Designated Homes

2010-2011

This year’s grant monies total $3,000.

Unfortunately, this program did not receive funding from the Metro Enhancement Grant Program as it had in previous years. As such, the money available for distribution has been reduced. In response to the reduction in funding, the Preservation Grant awards will be limited to a maximum of $1,000 dollars. New applicants may apply starting September 1, 2010. Applicants who have already received grant funding in previous cycles must wait till January 1, 2011 to apply for the grant program if money is still available. We are currently looking for new avenues for funding and hope to have funding restored for the 2011-2012 grant cycle.

What Does The Grant Pay For?
  • Window Repair
  • Wood Storm Windows
  • Replacement of Non-Historic Windows
  • Porch/Roof/Foundation Repair
  • Replacement of Missing Elements
